Ghost Waves

Have you ever been on the beach on a cold, windy day, and seen the ghost waves roll?
The wind whistles past you and no one else, since the beach is deserted.
The grains of sand lift up,
Into the winds push
To be swept away.
Like a ghost of the sea, wave after wave of sand
Flies past you
Into the cold embrace of the sea.
